See the world even after you are gone

God has blessed us with senses intact all,
Rarely do we empathize with those who have a short-fall.
We know not their pains,
We know not their fears.

When we a day spend in the dark,
Then will the thoughts in our mind spark.
To care for the blind,
And be of some service to mankind.

When you need your eyes no more,
Far from this material world you are gone.
To the challenged, help bring hope,
With their lives to cope.

Let us not by myths be bound,
Nor follow superstitions which are untrue found.
You can do this act of gold,
Just by being strong and bold.

Your eyes will otherwise be interred or in a conflagration
So do not deter from your intention.
Just make a definite plan,
In advance inform your clan.

When you make this vital decision
Plan it with precision.
When you donate your eyes
Their joys will reach the skies!

Let the needful be done
As soon as you are gone.
You will brighten the lives of two,
With this humble act you do.

We can help them see the beauty of the day at dawn,
Enjoy the green of the lawn.
Whether you are black, white or brown,
Your eyes will be again born.

For this great deed will help someone to see,
Even when no longer you will here be.
Your eyes will live long, long after you are gone
