Visit to KMF

On  30th July 2010, as a day out in a rainy season visited the KMF unit at Manipal. President, Secretary, Rajalaxmi D. Shetty, Meera Shenoy, Saraswathi Kamath, Vijayalaxmi Ballal, Vijaya Acharya, Sapna Suresh, Jayalaxmi Upadhyaya and Shakunthala Kunder were present.

Donation of Wheel Chair

On 30th July 2010, donated a wheel chair worth Rs. 4000 to a needy patient at Moodubelle.

Books and Uniform Distribution

On 29th July 2010, distributed uniforms, book and slates to 40 students of Bailur School. Mrs. Varija Rao was the sponsorer of this project. President, Secretary, Rajalaxmi D. Shetty, Varija Rao, Meera Shenoy, Jayalaxmi Acharya, Saritha Vinay Kumar and Saraswathi Kamath were present. Rs. 4023 was the project cost. 

Sponsoring a month's salary

On 29th July 2010, an amount of Rs. 1250 being a month's salary; was sponsored by our member Mrs. Jayalaxmi Acharya to a teacher of Bailur School.

Pranik Healing

On 28th July 2010, Awareness on importance of Pranik Healing in day to day life was conducted at Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi. Mrs. Anuradha and Mrs. Kiran were the resource persons. More than 400 students were the beneficiaries.

Health and Hygiene

On 27th July 2010, Awareness and talk on menstrual hygiene and personal hygiene was organized to the students of Nehru High School, Alevoor by doctors of Community Medicines. Dr. Anjali and Dr. Sneha Kamath gave a powerpoint presentation. Our club distributed sanitary pads to 60 girl students. President, Secretary, PDC Rajalaxmi D. Shetty, Vaijayanthi Rao, Vijayalaxmi Ballal and Savitha Acharya were present.
