Mind Control
The fastest thing on earth is Mind. You can be anywhere in the world at the very moment. The common state of mind is fickleness. This is its nature. Swami Vivekananda explains and compares it with the " monkey" which is drunken and bitten by a scorpion and also attacked by a devil. The cause of fickleness of mind is its waste products like, jealous, anger, unfaithfulness etc. Because of these thoughts the physical and mental disability or uneasiness like stress, tension and other diseases are formed. For that, we have to control the mind with mind only. It can not be controlled by artificial ways. It has to be brought under control by rules, regulation, discipline, patience, perseverance with intelligent practice. The more the pureness of mind, it is easier to control it. Most of us are held by the feelings of helplessness, dissatisfaction simply because we do not know how to use the power of mind. Mind control is all about empowering oneself by tapping the unlimited dormant power of the mind itself. Simple meditation can make a difference to the level of tension and worry. Yogic practices like Pranayama, Prathyahara and Dhyana will help a lot. It drives away the unwanted feeling and keeps one cheerful and powerful throughout life.
